WThis is a home-style version of a beverage from the seasonal cocktail list. It's a large-volume premix which is bursting full of tastes associated with Christmas time, rendering it ideal for your holiday party. Save the extra cordial you can use for morning drinks, desserts, or to mix additional servings of bikinis.

Serves 10 guests
For the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (makes 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
For the Cordial: Place all the components inside a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the burner allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Pour to a sealable bottle, cap it and refrigerate it chilled, it will last for about one month.
For the Premix: Mix every liquid ingredients in a large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using cheesecloth, making it perfectly clear.
For serving: Add 85ml of the premix into a mixing glass filled with ice, and stir gently for a minute until cold. Pour into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with a few cranberries and finish by giving it a light spray of the essential oil over the top.
